Wrap Dress

The wrap dress is such a classic piece that every girl needs one. A crossroads between robe and kimono, it’s got all the makings to accent every asset while still maintaining its comfort. A lover of prints in general, I fell in love with this seafoam colored wrap dress from Constant Threads almost instantly. I’ll be honest though, Thalia predicted that I would before I even had a chance to take a look at my options. So predictable!

With so many of my office wear pieces, the biggest hassle is battling the dry cleaner. Lost tickets, shirt with charred iron outlines, the generally unpleasant task of adding another errand to your to do list – all of these inspired me to make rule a long time ago. If a piece of clothing doesn’t survive the washer/dryer combo, it doesn’t deserve to be in my closet.

I’ve definitely pushed my limits over the years putting everything to the test (including things that are clearly labeled “dry clean only”). Rules? Who needs ’em. 9 times out of 10 they are mere suggestions and no one has time for that. And we are all really busy right? Right.
