Weekend Uniform: Suede Skirt and a Neutral Vest + WIWW Link Up

Sometimes my favorite outfits are the simplest. Inspired by this olive skirt, I kept this perfect-for-the-weekend look neutral in color. This skirt fit perfectly off the rack and when that happens, I am thrilled. I don’t know about y’all but this is a rare occasion for me. My tailor and I have pretty much become besties over the years. She might even have to become my emergency contact that’s how much I see her!

This beige trench vest was a similar story. It has a very flattering cut and I love the way it moves when you walk. Totally timeless. It’s an easy piece to wear layered on almost everything from t-shirts to ruffled blouses (like this one). The belted waist gives you the option to create that coveted hourglass shape should you feel you need it. I wanted to let it hang loose with the skirt but I would belt it if I was pairing it with wide leg bottoms or something along those lines. This mileage on this vest is a long one!

You’ve seen these lace up heels before and I’ve found them to be so amazing for pairing with almost everything as the temps warm up. They’re super comfortable and the lace up detail holds your foot in so you could wear them all day.
