We’ve all see an episode (or fifty) of Say Yes to the Dress, right? Ask Matt, I was on a binge for a while. I would have given anything to find a dress at Kleinfeld Bridal but it just wasn’t going to happen logistically since I live in Los Angeles. However, getting that Kleinfeld experience for accessories were a completely different story. I’d searching the internet and I was generally overwhelmed. The girls in the accessories department at Kleinfeld helped me find the perfect pieces (from 3,000 miles away might I add) and I barely had to do anything!
With so many decisions to make leading up to a wedding, accessories was an area where I just couldn’t articulate what I wanted. After one phone call where I shared a rather obscure and general vision for what I thought I wanted, they went back to their team and sent me a few pictures of jewelry they felt would go perfectly with my dress and my vision. Of the millions of earrings, bracelets, necklaces, and hairpieces out there on the interwebs, I only had to look at 2 or 3 and all the options were perfect. I just had to say yes or no. Easy peasy.
As I look back on this past year of wedding planning, accessories was one of my favorite parts of the process (thanks to my dream team at Kleinfeld!). Right behind finding my dress of course because I just like fashion. My third favorite part involves something edible but I want to keep as much as I can a secret so I’ll share what exactly that was later!
PS. How cute is this bowl from Sequins and Lace Design sent me? It has our wedding date on it! I’m working with Megen on another project for the wedding which as you might have guessed, is also a secret so stay tuned!
