How to Wear Boyfriend Jeans with Tommy Bahama

Boyfriend jeans can be a challenge to style for so many reasons. Actually, denim can be difficult to wear in general. Finding the right pair of jeans is like finding a husband. At least, the search and struggles along the way sure make it feel like it!

While the perfect denim digs aren’t usually the first pair you try on (or even the tenth), I feel like boyfriend jeans are slightly easier to find because of the relaxed fit. Today, I’m so excited to partner with the girls of #FBloggerNation and Tommy Bahama to introduce their new fall collection. I’m wearing the slim boyfriend jean and was pleasantly surprised by the fit!

As a girl with hips like Shakira, I found boyfriend jeans to be tough to style at first. Not used to seeing my frame in looser cuts (no need to make it look bigger, right?), it took a few wears to get used to the look. Once I saw my reflection in this slim relaxed style a few times, I started to like what I saw. Not only that but boyfriend jeans are super comfortable too.

They’re the perfect errand running outfit when paired with a basic top like this grey henley. They also can double for a girls night out with a pair of cute heels and the right jewelry. I’d say they can be worn out on date night but I’ll be honest and admit my husband hates them! I’m pretty sure all guys do. If your man is anything like mine, he’d want you to be in skin tight clothing at all times. Figures!

But let’s be honest. As girls, we don’t dress for guys, right? We dress to impress the girls walking by and to like that glimpse of your reflection in that store window. So for that reason, I’m sticking to my boyfriend jeans!
