Valentine’s Day is 3 weeks away y’all. Never one to wear the traditional colors on any holiday, I’ve opted for a little black dress this year and a whole lot of faux fur. LBDs are always appropriate and always on trend. I suppose you could call this my anti-Valentine’s Day dress. The red clutch and lip are a nod to the holiday because I do really enjoy celebrating with Matt. What are you Valentine’s Day plans? What are you planning to wear – red/pink or are you going more subtle?
This year, Matt and I elected to cook dinner together on the 14th and go out to dinner on a different night. On Valentine’s Day, the gridlocked streets of Los Angeles are enough to make you totally feel the opposite of love. Initially, I told Matt to plan on going out Sunday but he decided to schedule a flight to Chicago that afternoon. Typical. Now, we’re going out on Friday and I get to remind him how he tried to skip town on our Valentine’s Day date for the next year. Also typical.
Lulu’s Valentine’s Day LBD (on sale here), ChicNova leopard coat, Susu Handbags red clutch (also on sale), Marshelly’s necklace / earrings / Katana ring, Michael Antonio heels for $20, Chevron midi ring, Dior lipstick in Lys Rouge
