Tempur-Pedic Cloud Supreme Breeze Mattress Review from Abt Electronics

There’s nothing better than a good night’s sleep, right? Right. I wouldn’t know. That is, until we got our new Breeze mattress delivered last Friday from Abt Electronics. The best part? You can win one too now through January 31st!

I know it may seem premature, but I didn’t wake up once the first night I slept on our new Breeze mattress. I can’t even remember the last time that happened. It hasn’t happened since we moved to Chicago from Los Angeles! I know that much! So what did we get?

If you’ve been following along on Instagram, you know the story. Matt and I decided to go to Abt Electronics on Christmas Eve to look for a new mattress. For those that don’t know what Abt Electronics is, it’s a family-owned electronics and appliance store that also has mattresses, living room furniture, and custom home entertainment systems. We browsed the custom kitchen displays and I found my future kitchen – it had the most gorgeous countertop made of polished iceberg quartzite. They literally have it all! AND they price match!

My coworkers all described it to me as “Disneyland for adults”. That description is spot on. Not only do they have everything you could ever need for your home, they also have a Dylan’s Candy Bar, an Apple store, and Gourmet (smaller kitchen items). Oh, and they serve freshly baked cookies on weekends. The shopping experience is simply one of the best we’ve had and the entire store is immaculate. I didn’t want to leave! I told Matt we had better speed up our home-buying process because I want an excuse to go back to Abt.

So what mattress did we get? We got the Tempur-Pedic Cloud Supreme Breeze Mattress in a California King. We’d had a California King size mattress since LA because Matt is pretty tall and kept complaining about his feet hanging off our queen sized bed. Getting a bigger mattress was a complete game changer. He’s a little bit of a princess so I know he had to approve of whatever mattress we got more than I did! I had asked for recommendations on Instagram and got an overwhelming response in favor of the Tempur-Pedic mattresses!

One of the most helpful parts of the process was Josh who helped us pick out a Breeze mattress at Abt. He was so knowledgeable about all the brands and told us everything we needed to know about the Tempur-Pedic brand. He also was very open and honest about what mattress he opted for and why. He wasn’t pushy at all – just really listened to our concerns and made recommendations. He  also explained the history of Tempur-Pedic which I personally found really interesting. If you guys go to Abt, ask for him – he’s so professional.

Abt carries 4 types of Tempur-Pedic mattresses but the one we got is the newest model. Everyone raves about their Tempur-Pedic mattress so it was no secret that it would be on our list of considerations. What convinced me is that it has technology to cool you down if you get hot in your sleep. It also can keep you warm if you get cold in your sleep. Since Matt and I are opposites, it seemed like the perfect solution. I wore longer pants on Friday night to test this (usually I can only sleep in shorts) and I didn’t get hot enough to wake myself up!

The memory foam base of this Breeze  mattress also helps people who snore and toss and turn do it less as opposed to coils in a regular mattress. Since I move around a ton in my sleep, Matt’s face lit up when he heard that! Considering I slept through the night, I’m going to say that this was also true for us. Matt also is a loud breather – not so much a snorer but a breather. He always falls asleep before me so I’ve been listening to his breathing and it’s definitely quieter! Everything you guys told me about the Tempur-Pedic Cloud Supreme Breeze mattress has been true so far!

I’ve never had any delivery team be early! They called me the morning of and gave me a 2-3 hour window and were so prompt and professional. They patiently waited for me to contact our front desk so that they could use our freight elevator. They even took off their shoes before entering our apartment and we have hardwood floors! It was the end to a perfect experience!
