On my recent trip to Target, I found myself in the denim department. I always go into Target intending to by one thing and come out with a five things (or cart full on really rough days) full of goodies. Like this time. I went in to buy a watermelon and came out with these jeans (just $30) and this plaid top (just $23)… and a Zico water, cantaloupe, 1 avocado, a pack of gum, and a loofah. Thankfully, it was 8AM on a Saturday so no one was there to judge my random haul.
Now I’ll admit, Target isn’t my first stop when it comes to denim. My body isn’t easy to fit (is anyone’s?). I know what brands work for me, I know the styles I like, and I rarely stray. I’m a loyalist to a T. However, Target just redesigned their denim line and it literally has something for everyone. I was overwhelmed by the options in a good way and after trying on a few pairs, I settled on these high waisted jeggings. In the past, I’ve cringed at the word ‘jegging’ but I saw the label after I had tried them on and was already in love. Plus, I’m pretty sure it just means it stretches so I could practically sleep in them (side note: does anyone else remember pajama jeans?).
If you’re in need of a refresh on your denim collection, I recommend checking out Target’s denim section. There will be no fretting over which pair to get (because you can just get all of them) and for the next 2 weeks, Target is offering free shipping and free returns on any order of denim. Why NOT try some? There’s literally nothing to lose. Bootcut, straight, skinny – they have all the cuts and in so many washes. I came home and bought them in ebony because I have already worn these jeans twice in two days and I adored the rips.

I rarely get pants at target for the same reason, but every now and then I’ll find some great denim when I go. I love the girly color of your denim shirt. You look fantastic!
