Statement Necklace and a Summer Dress

This necklace definitely makes a statement. I’m talking serious statement necklace here. So serious that when I wore it to a meeting at work last week, a coworker asked if I was trying to become a geologist. Thanks. When a man recognizes your jewelry, ladies (that isn’t your engagement/wedding ring), you’re making a statement. Regardless of what anyone thinks, I’m obsessed with this Anthropologie find so to show it off I paired it with this Free People convertible skirt/dress. The black dress and bright colors really popped against the desert background so this has become one of my favorite shoots. Matt and I enjoyed a quick getaway to Palm Springs last weekend with a few friends. As you can see from the background above, it’s literally in the middle of nowhere but it was so much fun!
