On our recent trip to Spain, I threw together this outfit, inspired by the flamenco and the vibrant patterns that could be found in every city we visited. Never did I think I’d be caught wearing a crop top but when I tried this on at Free People I immediately fell in love! First, it’s tremendously flattering which is crucial when you’re mustering up the courage to show a little skin. Pairing it with this ASOS maxi let me keep it sexy while not eliciting any stares of a negative manner. Second, it’s so versatile and can be used or layered into any look you want to achieve. Black is simply classic but Free People has at least 10 more colors and I fully intend to buy more!
I’m also wearing a name necklace à la Carrie from Sex and the City which is a piece every girl in her twenties should own – it’s feminine yet bold, plus serves as a reminder to the guy hitting on you what your name is (kidding, but I was seriously asked that once)! And just like Carrie, “I like my money where I can see it – hanging in my closet.”
