Skincare with Skinfix

I care more about my skin than almost anything else. With a rough winter and summers in the sun catching up to me, I’m constantly in search of the best products.

Admittedly, my skin isn’t much to look at right now. This is why I wanted to try Skinfix’s new Face Collection which just launched at Ulta. As a health junkie, it’s so important to find natural products that don’t contain harmful chemicals like parabens and sulfates so that was the first reason I was drawn to Skinfix. Aside from that, I had high hopes that it would do just what the name implies: fix my skin.

With the Brightening Eye Cream, I did notice that the bags under my eyes were brightened a little after a few days but I’m sure I can stand to use it just more! I feel like I’ve been waking up with puffy eyes a lot lately and now that I think about it, I haven’t since I started using it too! What is making this happen? The Alfalfa Seed Extract. If you haven’t heard the word Alfalfa since the movie The Little Rascals was popular, it’s time to reintroduce this word into your vocabulary. Packed with vitamins C, D, E, and K as well as betacarotenes, it is clinically proven to diminish those bags under your eyes and firm up that sensitive area!

I finished off my routine with the Nourishing Cream. I really like the consistency of the cream. It’s not too watery where you wonder if it’s doing anything but it’s not so thick that it feels like you’re using body butter on your face. Gross. All in all, I felt sufficiently moisturized after using it and that feeling stayed until the morning (when it was time to reapply!). The Red Seaweed Extract is a natural sodium hyaluronate (you may have seen this word a lot lately as it’s trending in the beauty industry) which serves to give you that dewy complexion while moisturizing. The mechanism to disperse it into your hand is also pretty cool – you just push down on the top after removing the cap and the perfect amount of product comes out!

I can’t wait to see what happens after a few more uses!
