Shopbop’s Black Friday Sale Starts NOW!

Shopbop’s Black Friday sale came early this year and it is a good one! If I learned anything from the fall sale a few months back, it’s shop early. Seriously, start browsing now! I made the mistake of waiting until day 2 last time and found that all the cute stuff was sold out! If you’re new to Shopbop, they are a more premium online shop but they still have tons of affordable things. They carry the same brands as a Nordstrom or Bloomingdales but a curated selection of the most stylish stuff. Everything is high quality and the shipping takes 3 days max so you could have your items before Cyber Monday even starts! My grey suede moto jacket and white belle sleeve top above (I get so many compliments on it) are both in the sale!

BOOTS:

Given that it’s been about 30 degrees in Chicago for the last few days, snow boots are at the front of my mind! I like to take this opportunity to invest in a pair (or two) of new boots because they so rarely go on sale! When I first found out I was moving to Chicago, I got the Conquest Wedges (see here for the full look). They’re really comfortable and give you a little height in the cold! I also really like how the Carnival boots look on your feet – they’re not as bulky but super warm. With the popularity of duck boots, I might have to finally invest in some this sale! I feel like they’re perfect for the walk to work or for putting on to go to Pure Barre.

Hunter Rain Boots and Stuart Weitzmans are also in the sale! I love these glossy maroon Hunters – I feel like they’re a little more versatile than the bright red shade. I also got these Stuart Weitzman over the knee boots this morning – I’ve been eyeing for months! I was saving up for these!

HOLIDAY DRESSES:

If you’re looking for the perfect outfit to wear to a holiday party, this is your chance! I’ve rounded up a bunch of affordable options that are right around $100 and so timeless you can wear them again and again. COZY PJs:

Since I’ll be spending Black Friday curled up on the couch in my pajamas, it only felt right to include them in this round up. It’s so fun to put on some festive loungewear surrounded by your family! Last year, we did a onesie themed Christmas! There are tons of adorable PJ sets like these navy polka dots or this holiday polar fleece! If like sleeping in loose shirts, this has to be the cutest thing with all things holiday written on it!

COLD WEATHER ACCESSORIES:

I’m very quickly learning to appreciate hats, scarves, and socks. They’ve become more critical to my wardrobe since the move and I’m stocking up on all the thickest knits. These sleigh ride socks would be perfect for Christmas morning! I also love these burgundy gloves with little bows – they versatile so you can wear them with a casual outfit or to a more formal outing. And if my walk home last night taught me anything, it’s that I need about 10 more hats. I love this blush toned beanie because it looks so warm!

SWEATERS AND KNITS:

I’m also on the hunt for every type of sweater on Earth right now! This BB Dakota knit with a wrap waist is so flattering on! I feel like it would also go really well over a lacey cami if it’s not that cold where you are or if you wanted to wear it to a holiday party! I also love this white cable knit sweater dress because it’s basically a canvas for creating any kind of outfit. Whether you want to wear it to brunch with OTK boots or over a pair of leggings, you have endless options.

JACKETS AND OUTERWEAR:

My grey suede jacket from above is in the sale and it’s only $98!! It’s a great alternative to the $200 version you’ve been seeing everywhere lately and I love the shade of grey. It’s also really soft. Sticking with suede, this draped burgundy jacket is also a beauty! It’s under $100 with the sale discount too!

SPARKLY ACCESSORIES:

Whether you’re looking for statement earrings or a stunning clutch, be sure to check out the accessories! I always seem to pick up a few pairs of basic pieces too like these bar earrings too.
