Regardless of how many seasons ago oxblood was “in”, I still adore it as a color. These DL1961 oxblood jeans were (and still are) on sale and I’d been dying for this shade of pant. Love the coated texture and the fact that they are instasculpting. I’m not sure what exactly that means but it sounds technical and fancy plus they’re super comfortable. I’m talking pajamas comfortable.
I’ve had this Anthropologie (check out their tag sale for 40% off) sweater forever and can’t get over the polka dot detailing. It was the perfect shade of oxblood to pair with the pants without being too matchy matchy. Since monochromatic looks are so in right now, I decided to try it with a splash of color. A dab of blue to break it up and a fab statement necklace from Luxe Statements and that was the ticket!

I love the tone on tone look! That sweater is really pretty, and it looks great with the statement necklace and chambray.

Love the monochrome oxblood. I have similar jeans and may need to do this! Great inspiration.

those sleeves are awesome! I’ve seen sheer polka dot necklines in black, but I love the sleeves in oxblood!
