After wearing boots for the last 5 months, last week was the first week I wore these red flats to work! It’s finally getting warmer in Chicago. Although I’ve given up hope on this city ever being LA warm, at least I’m not covered in layers! It’s amazing how different it is. You don’t realize it until you’re in a different climate (for an extended period of time)!

Lately, I’ve been keeping an eye out for cute flats to wear come spring. My walk to work makes it easier to wear flats vs. carrying a spare pair of shoes around. I had the cutest red flats last year that I wore in Ireland. I wore them out because they were so comfortable. I’d been looking to replace them! That’s when I found these ECCO pointed toe ballerina flats on Zappos.com. They’re extremely comfortable and come in 5 colors from a classic black to a bright yellow. Although, I’ll say this – you’d be surprised how many combinations red goes with!

I know Valentine’s Day was 2 months ago but I couldn’t help thinking about it when I saw this outfit come together. This pink leather crossbody by ECCO is just the cutest! I can’t wait to style it in more ways. Plus, any nod to the holiday of love is a good one, right? I’m sure some of you are groaning at that sentence. Too bad. I said it.

If you haven’t tried ECCO shoes before (I hadn’t), they are so comfortable! I like that their products are really wearable – not too fancy and not too casual either. I’m really into items that can serve dual purposes lately! Meaning, I can wear them to work and also wear them on the weekend. It makes justifying another purchase a little bit more palatable!
