Red Lace Up Pumps for the Holidays

When it comes to holiday outfits, I always think dresses first. If you missed my 3 holiday looks with Rent the Runway, you can see them here. However, a dress might not be needed for every occasion. Sometimes, great pants and some beautiful red lace up pumps might be a welcomed change.

There’s no denying that pants are usually more comfortable. If we’re being honest, leggings beat pants 10 times out of 10. Since not everyone might comfortable wearing leggings (these are the leggings I swear by), here is a fun holiday look with my favorite white jeans! If you haven’t tried this instascuplt denim before, they’re really good for shaping and forming. They’re thick so you won’t have any see through accidents too! The only challenge is keeping them white if you’re a little bit klutzy like me. That’s why I always carry a Tide To Go pen with me.

And now for the main event: these shoes! I’ve been dying to add more lace up shoes to my closet. For whatever reason, I seem to have held off but I’m so happy I got these red pumps! And right now, they are only $15!! Can you believe it? Payless is such a great source for steals like this! They’re so easy to wear now for the holidays but they’d also make a great Valentine’s Day accessory. I seriously can’t get over the price!

To add a little sparkle to my outfit, I added an embellished sweater. With all the glitz and glam going on right now, this sweater had the perfect amount of embellishments to make a girl feel dressed up but not overdressed. It went perfectly under my favorite red parka (which has been on sale for $134 since Black Friday). Sizes are selling out so fast so if you’re on the edge, buy it now. Returns are easy if you don’t love it but I promise you you will! It’s always easier to try things on in person and I get that.
