With wedding season just around the corner — actually, it’s here –, it’s time to start thinking strategically about what to wear! You can always rewear but it’s great to refresh your closet with a few key, affordable pieces.
This pink, satin dress is so easy on the wallet it’s unbelievable (it’s $70). If you haven’t ordered from Chicwish before, I usually size up because of my height BUT for this dress, it runs true to size. There’s a little bit of give at the waist and also the straps are stretchy which makes it very comfortable. Also check it out in white and black here. If sizes are limited, don’t worry about sizing down unless you’re very very tall!
I’m also all about the investment in a new crossbody for each season. Accessories can do a wonderful refresh on pieces that you already own. If you’re picking carefully, opt for a neutral color like nude or white. Black clutches are always great but I love to wear brights to weddings which means that neutrals come in handy much more frequently. Of course, tailor this to what shades you like to wear though. Shop smart!
If you’re also into color, check out Kendra Scott’s selection of statement earrings. Any shade of stone you want, they have it. I love that they are on the more simple side of statement earrings so they are wearable to both weddings and work. I died for these Skylar earring in rose quartz (doing Pantone proud!).
