Pink Jumpsuit

I have been wearing a LOT of pink lately (or as fashionistas say, “blush”). I caught myself looking at my Instagram feed last week and I had 3 photos in a row with something pink in them. I know, I don’t even know who I am anymore either. It’s weird but I’m rolling with it.

My childhood consisted of matching outfits with my little sister (as I’m sure many of yours did). However, when she got a Lion King themed ensemble with Nala on it, I got Simba. When she got the pink stretchy pants, I got blue. She got sparkly jellies, I got softball cleats. You get the drift. You’d think our parents would have just bought me a bigger size in the same thing, right? Wrong. The 8-year-old me wouldn’t have known what to do with this Girls on Film pink number.

Reasons why I’ve converted: 1. When you find something that works for you, you just do it. 2. The fact that this one piece is strapless makes it REALLY easy for tall girls to wear. I can’t tell you the number of times I’ve put on a romper only to walk out of the dressing room hunched over like Quasimodo. 3. It’s comfortable. 4. You don’t have to worry about what to pair it with. Just like a dress, there’s no top or pants to bother with. Slip it on and you are good to go!

Meanwhile on the beauty front, I’ve just discovered dry spray deodorant and I’m obsessed! They’re beautifully packaged (I have the Dove ClearTone one) and don’t leave any of that chunky residue of a normal stick. It’s also weirdly refreshing? Hard to explain but try it and you’ll see.  Walmart has a great selection of them and they’re all around $5!
