Pink Door

Matt and I escaped LA last weekend to Palm Springs for a friend’s 30th birthday bash! It was 100+ degrees both days which was insane. It just seems to get hotter and hotter and this week back in Santa Monica is no different. I walked out of my apartment this morning at 6AM and it was already 80 degrees! It’s October!

If you’ve never been to Palm Springs, it’s this beautifully sleepy down full of 70’s inspired architecture like this pink door. I had really wanted to shoot here for ages! Moises Esquenazi is the designer behind this retro glam home which made for the perfect backdrop for this SILK coat. The pink checkerboard pattern played off the squares on the door so wonderfully.

Since the color pink is outside of my comfort zone, I kept my accessories classic to compliment this outfit (and the facade).
