Pave Jewelry with Melinda Maria

After a long weekend, Mondays are always rough. However, the holiday spirit is everywhere in Chicago which makes it tough to be too upset about it! We had a chance to walk down Michigan Avenue Saturday night – it was decorated to the nines and the crowds were crazy! We followed it up with a visit to the Lincoln Park Zoo which is completely lit up throughout the park right now. There were 2 million lights there! With all that sparkle, it’s hard not to take some inspiration into your own outfits. I’m breaking out the pave jewelry today with Melinda Maria as a way get in the mood for December!

I’ve been looking for the perfect statement ring forever. Something subtle but that still stands out. I love the shape of this Mademoiselle Pave Gold Ring and the CZ inserts are gorgeous! I’m wearing it with this every day outfit to dress it up a little but it would be so perfect to pair with any holiday party dress too! Since Matt and I were casually exploring Chicago, I broke out these comfortable over the knee boots. The heel is comfortable and the suede really keeps you warm. I’ve been loving over the knee boots since the move because they actually do make a difference when it’s 30 degrees out! Plus they’re so chic. This white hooded coat was a new addition too! I’d acquired so many black coats and it was time to be a little brighter. I’ve been loving all the opportunities to layer now that we’re in Chicago. Coats, scarves, gloves… I didn’t think I’d be into it but I’m all about it!
