Denim is timeless. I mean, how many jean skirts have you owned in your lifetime? Flashback to the series of A&F cutoff numbers I rocked throughout high school (and maybe even into college) – holla! While some of my past decisions may not have been as classy as this patchwork one, we can all agree that the denim skirt is here to stay. I love the slimming effect of this one as it elongates through the vertical seam on the front. To play up the quirks of the skirt, I loved this WAYF bell sleeve top. Classic combination.
Aside from the amazingness of that skirt, I just need to take a moment to talk about these mules. Or do people call them clogs? Never in my life did I ever consider purchasing them. There’s no rhyme or reason, I just associated them with people older than me. However, while on the hunt for beige sandals, I discovered these mules by Dolce Vita (currently 51% off) and I’ve never been more obsessed. Maybe this means I’m one of those old ladies I once envisioned when I heard the word “mule” or maybe it means I was seriously misguided. I’m going to go with the latter but whatever the reason, I really really love these shoes. Note: they’re super comfortable and I wore them for a full day of walking all over Taipei on our honeymoon!
WAYF bell sleeve top | ASOS patchwork denim skirt | Dolce Vita mules | Anthropologie bag (for similar options, I really love this laser cut crossbody and this beige saddle bag) | Tom Ford sunglasses | Bip and Bop necklace
