I realized a few weeks back that I haven’t bought cute casual clothes in such a long time. I tend to shop for occasions: weddings, parties, etc. That makes for very few farmers market appropriate ensembles hanging in my closet. Can you imagine me wearing that dress from Wednesday’s post to pick out some organic fruits and vegetables? I’d get more looks than the guy that gives out unlimited free samples of pita bread. No, this olive skirt is much more appropriate.
Olive is always a color I forget about for bottoms. I tend to go for more basic bottoms (denim, white, black) with my tops bringing in the color and flair. By flip flopping top and bottom, it puts a little special spin on the outfit – at least to my eyes. Not to mention that everything in this outfit from head to toe is currently 40% off so it’s super easy on the wallet. I’ve worn these white sandals 4 times this week alone! Definitely a closet staple.
PS. how cute is this palm sweater? Plain or patterened, you can never have enough white tops especially during summer

The olive is amazing and paired with the white lace, it’s a great summer look! Also, your hair looks incredible and extra beachy here. Jealous!
