I know there is a ton of hype around the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale and chances are, you’re already sick of hearing about it. I’ve barely talked about it and I’m already sick of talking about it! However, there are bound to be some amazing deals. And with most of the year being cold weather (at least for half of us), it makes sense to save on the pieces you wear the most. So with that, I’m trying to cut through all the noise today and give you a checklist for the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale.
If you’re one of the Level 4 cardholders who gets to shop today, lucky you! I’m not! I’ll be shopping tomorrow along with quite a few of you it seems! You can always check this page on the blog to see everything I’ve talked about in one spot. You can also shop by category from that page. This checklist has the first things that come to mind for me. Based on past years, the best quality items, and the best deals, this is what I would recommend looking out for. This is what I’ll be shopping for except for a few items that have lasted since last year’s sale and I don’t need to refresh quite yet!
Tory Burch Riding Boots.
This is the only item on this list that I don’t need yet! I got the ones from last year’s sale and they are still holding up so well! They are one of the best deals and will definitely sell out so grab them up front! The Tory Burch riding boots usually come in brown and black and are in the $200 range so be prepared to pull the trigger!
Vince Camuto Booties.
This is another item that will move fast! They usually have a couple different styles from Vince Camuto! I like to size up a half size to give myself a little room with socks. They are great for all climates too!
Pajamas.
I don’t know why but I never seem to have cute pajamas. I love the Nordstrom branded ones and am hoping there are some new styles in this year’s sale. If not, I’m also looking for Eberjey and Make + Model which I’ve also tried and love!
Barefoot Dreams Cardigan (or anything).
Barefoot Dreams makes the softest things out there. If you see a cardigan in the sale, buy it. Don’t think twice! They will sell out almost instantly and they won’t be restocked. I stalked last years cardigans for the full 3 weeks after missing out on the first day and it didn’t get restocked in my size once! At least not long enough to order!
Basics.
This is the best time to stock up on some good basics. BP will have a couple including a striped long sleeve tee under $20 most likely (if past years have taught me anything). I love stocking up on stuff by BP and Lush during this sale! They’re all super affordable too!
Rebecca Minkoff Bag
If you’re looking for a new purse, there will definitely be some by Rebecca Minkoff in the sale! I love that her bags are really stylish but nothing too out of your comfort zone!
Suitcase.
I didn’t originally think about getting a suitcase from Nordstrom until I saw one in the catalog! There are a bunch of colors including pink! I’ve heard great things too!
Mules.
I also saw quite a few options in the catalog. For anyone who has watched my OOTDs, you know that I love mules. They’re dressy like a pump but also have the comfort of a flat.
Spanx Leggings.
If you missed these last year, you need them! They are hands down the most worn item for me during fall and winter. They slim your legs like crazy and are my only chance at a thigh gap. If they’re in the sale, get them! Maybe even stock up!
Zella Leggings.
If you’re a Zella lover, there will be quite a few pieces in the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale! There will be some plain black versions as well as some more fun colors!
Safer Beauty.
I’m not sure what and if there will be any safer beauty brands in the sale but I’ll be on the lookout! If you’re not sure why this matters, read this post! It can really impact your health especially long term!
