The Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is in full swing and I’m excited to continue my series coverage with sweaters! If you missed my first post on boots, you can find it here. The sale is still open for Nordstrom cardholders only through July 21st (it opens to the public after that and ends August 8th) but there is an option to get a Nordstrom debit card. I finally got one this year after having serious FOMO about the sale and it took about 10 minutes. I didn’t want another credit card so the debit card was the perfect solution for me. You can still earn rewards but don’t have to mess with your credit!
I don’t know about you but I find myself wearing sweaters at least 3 times a week to work. Partly for warmth (they crank up the AC like crazy in my office) and partly because I think they are a really comfortable option when it comes to business casual. Today I’m sharing my favorites as well as sizing/styling tips! These deals were beyond amazing because everything is under $60!
The first sweater that I’m loving is this grey textured turtleneck knit (see photo above). The material is really soft but substantial in thickness and at $38, you will want to snag both colors fast! It runs true to size (I’m wearing a small) and I love the slight high low detail. For those of you that don’t love things touching your neck (like me), the turtleneck is not overly tight so you won’t feel claustrophobic. I paired it with this super slimming faux leather leggings which you also say in yesterday’s post. I’m telling you, I wear these leggings regularly come fall because they really suck you in!
Another amazing piece by Dreamers (same brand as the heathered grey turtleneck) is this olive cowl neck sweater. The fit is designed to be boxy so it is extremely comfortable. If you’re under 5’5″ and you don’t want it to fit as loosely as the one I’m wearing, you could safely size down (I’m wearing a small). It comes in 3 colors and is only $30 in the #NSale! Again, I paired it with these black leggings and this $40 brown leather tote bag (it looks way more expensive in person and comes in 3 colors). I wore these peep toe booties in Prairie which are quickly selling out with this outfit!
You saw this outfit in yesterday’s post but this burgundy sweater is one of my favorites from the sale! I sized down (XS) because I wanted a more sim fit given the first two I posted were oversized. The side slits are a cute little detail and the color is just beyond good. I really liked how this brown saddle bag played up the rust tones in the sweater too. This one is available in 6 colors and also selling out extremely fast so don’t wait! I’d also recommend the green and beige for fall! Because I wanted that NYC chic look, I wore it with these over the knee suede boots for a city girl look! It could easily be paired with booties or even flats though for the office or a casual weekend brunch.
If you’re looking for a different cut, I’m going back to buy this burgundy ruffled hem (3 colors) today which is only $53! It’s a little more flowy and you can always use both structured and not in your closet. I’d recommend sizing down here too to avoid that shapeless figure from the front. Plus, how cute is the back?
I could not be true to myself without adding more stripes to my closet for fall. This zip up back sweater comes in 8 colors and is only $45 during the sale. I also sized down for this one because Caslon tends to run a little large and I wanted a slimmer fit. I have a few Caslon sweaters from last year and they have all held up really well. I got those in a small though so I’m balancing out the sizing with an XS this year. This grey is so easy to pair with the leggings you see in the other outfits but it’s just plain awesome with your favorite jeans as well. If you’re looking for some amazing jean deals, I’d recommend trying these Paige denim jeans that are under $100 (rarely happens) if you’re looking to splurge or these distressed skinnies for $45!
A couple other sweaters haven’t arrived yet so I’ll share those too! This $53 cold shoulder sweater is selling out so fast that you should snag any color you can in your size. I ordered a small in the black. I’d recommend checking back every now and then too because they might restock. I also spotted this $32 cardigan yesterday and just bought it in burgundy and grey. I sized down and ordered an XS because I wanted it to be roomy but not overly roomy. Both will go really well with jeans in either blue or black. Lastly, my favorite oversized piece is this patchwork cardi by Topshop – loving the neutral-ish colors and how cozy it looks!
What do you guys think? Were you able to snag some sweaters already? What are your favorites?

I got that same gray turtleneck, but wasn’t sure how it would look. Hoping it looks as good on me as it does on you!!
