Memorial Day is the start of summer for anyone in Chicago. That makes me so excited because it also means warmer weather. What is everyone doing for the long weekend? Do you have your Memorial Day outfits picked out?

When it comes to holidays, I love a more subtle combination than a bolder one. Combining red, white, and blue can be done in so many ways. My favorite way is with lighter blue. I feel like it’s a little more stylish than a bold royal blue. The plus side is that you can repurpose these items a month later for July 4th!

Depending on what your Memorial Day activities are, you can opt for some white denim, a cute BBQ dress, or even jean shorts. My personal favorite Are Memorial Day dresses but I’m sure that comes as no surprise! There are so many ways to celebrate and I love that we do something different every year. Since we work full time, we usually try to travel over the long weekend. Last year, we went to Tulum in Mexico and it was gorgeous. This year we are going to Puerto Rico for a little sun and relaxation.
