With one day left in the month, it’s time for another Instagram round up! I’m moving it up a day because I’m starting to love the Friday Five series that I’ve been doing at the end of every week. They are quick, easy to read posts which I think everyone can agree suits the Friday mood. It lets me share products and trends that I love in a more casual way. It’s just really fun. If you have any requests, I’m all ears!
If February’s round up indicated it was the month of blush, this month was all about flowers and the beach. Everyone’s mind is clearly on spring (and spring break)! Looks like last week’s post on the cutest sunglasses could not have been timed better! Sunshine is ahead! No matter how difficult that is to believe for us east coast and midwest girls…
Who doesn’t love a flower field? Apparently, people in Chicago don’t know what they even are. My coworkers told me that there were no flower fields here, only corn fields… figures. This little white dress definitely flatters and would be a great piece to wear if you’re a bride to be! Either that or you just have a really amazing tan. And no one needs to know it came from a bottle. I linked to a few of other favorite LWDs too!
Comfy and casual is next up! Matt and I snapped this quickly on a Saturday and this outfit is my go to when I’m at home. Sweatpants (AKA joggers to sound cuter) and a cozy thermal? Yes please. If you missed this thermal, it’s one of my favorite basics ever. It comes in about 10 colors and is selling out fast. If you’re lucky, it will still be on sale by the time you see this!
Can I go back to the beach already? This grey maxi dress was from our trip to Tampa this month to catch a little spring training (baseball). I literally wore it from the beach to dinner. It’s like wearing pajamas it’s so comfortable and this style is timeless. You need this for your next vacation! I’m also wearing my FAVORITE blush velvet sandals for spring. A slight splurge item but oh-so worth it. Seriously. I’m dying over them.
Garage doors and flowers do the trick every time! This floral dress was a hot commodity and is available in limited sizes at a bunch of retailers. If you don’t see it in your size here, make sure to scroll to the right in the widget above because I linked to everywhere that is currently selling it! Good luck hunting!
I know, I know. I love this off the shoulder chambray dress too! At under $90, it’s another one of those pieces that can be worn as a coverup or out to dinner. I just couldn’t get over how fun it was to twirl in!
Matt and I were wine tasting in Asheville last month and 2 girls interrupted us to ask where this dress was from. They were obsessed with the lace detailing. I couldn’t agree more! The drop waist and shift shape can easily hide any curves you’re not looking to put on display and the fun sleeves make this a great dress for spring. This one is another hot commodity so I linked to a few places that are selling it in various colors. Scroll through the widget above to check for your size!
This white moto is fast becoming one of my most worn items for spring. Whether you’re layering it over a thermal or a cute cami, it’s such a great investment piece. The fit is impeccable and as it turns out, it just goes with everything!
Flowers, flowers, and more flowers! This greenhouse we found was one of the prettiest places I’d ever seen. It was also warm which made me happy. These pink velvet sandals are some of the most comfortable shoes thanks to the block heel and I’m having a blast finding new ways to wear them. Like with this mesh floral dress!
Another cute pink top that’s only $55! Loved how fun this look turned out which would be great for a spring date night. Check out the full post to see how pretty these ruffled layers are when you move! I also drop some knowledge about why you don’t have to feel pressured to define your style so, there’s an added bonus.
I posted this photo and immediately my mother commented “ouch, that sunburn”. Moms, am I right? This white midi was such an easy to wear dress while we were in Tampa. These cute adirondack chairs hopefully distract you from my red skin too. More photos of this location and the outfit are here!
Our master bedroom made the round up again! Stay tuned because I’m working on putting together more home content in the coming months! Yay!
Swoon! This peony printed dress and the backdrop were so incredibly stunning! The Biltmore was one of my favorite places we’ve ever visited. You can check out more of the property in this post here – it’s definitely a must see! And while there may not have been any flowers in bloom (except for in the botanical gardens), this dress had plenty!
Am I giving you wanderlust yet? Heck, I’m giving me wanderlust. I’m ready for another vacation! Hopefully one that lasts more than a weekend. This cute beach coverup is under $100 and can be found a few places which I put in the full post! Also, a few of you asked where this destination was and it was actually at our hotel we stayed in! For once, I did none of the planning and left it all to Matt. Incredibly, there were a few really scenic spots right on the property (Sailport Suites) which we took full advantage of!
Also at our hotel in tampa was this mini beach! This colorful watercolor maxi dress matched the vibrance of Tampa. Overall, I’m getting some serious summer vibes from this!
Did you have a favorite outfit? What are some of the trends you are looking forward to this spring and summer?
