What girl doesn’t love more pillows? And what guy doesn’t hate them? This was the conversation I had with Matt until I convinced him that my latest redecorating efforts would be accompanied by an ‘in one, out one’ policy. Keep reading for the items I picked up from Arhaus to freshen our living room!
I’ve had my eye on Arhuas for YEARS. They have a store here in Chicago and whenever I walk by, I find myself immediately wanting to redecorate just about everything in my home. They are currently running a 40% off summer sale so there are a lot of summer items available at a discount. There are some great neutral furniture items as part of this sale if you’ve been on the hunt. Even if it’s as small as picking up a few new throw pillows to make you feel alive again! After this long winter, you deserve it!
On the subject of pillows, I found THE softest throw pillow in the world. You’ve probably noticed on Instagram Stories that it always seems to be behind me when I’m talking to you from our couch! I’m in LOVE with it. Its luxe faux fur and pleated texture are stunning in person – to the point where Matt will try to steal this pillow from me! I will probably end up going back for another just because it’s a beautiful ivory color that comes in handy at any time when you’re decorating your home. Especially if you love neutral home decor. It also comes in grey here which I feel would be perfect for our master bedroom!
I’ve also been moving this boho lumbar pillow between the couch and our bedroom. I can’t decide where I like it better! I love the mixture of fabrics and textures too. If you couldn’t tell already, I’m really big on textures. I have always felt they give a space more dimension and make it more inviting for both you and your guests. This diamond knit throw blanket matches it. As a general rule when it comes to home decorating, I try to have 2 matching items in any space when they’re a little more unique. It serves to bring the room together! I also grabbed this pouf because you can never have enough seating especially in an apartment. Every time we have a big group over, we have our selection of poufs to thank for making sure everyone has a seat. Think Game of Thrones finale party! This pouf also comes in white!
One of the most unique things I found from Arhaus was their wall vases. I ended up going with these rectangular vases and love them! If you’re looking for a budget friendly way to make your space feel more alive (with fresh flowers), check out more vase options here. After seeing how beautiful these are, I want these hand blown circular vases. I think they look gorgeous with the eucalyptus and would be great for an entryway or smaller wall space!
The last thing I picked up was this floral plate for our coffee table. We had been using a mirrored tray but since our coffee table is dark, I wanted something that would brighten up the space a little more. This piece did the trick and I love the shape of it (texture, again!). It worked so well with a basic glass vase I had to buy these hydrangeas and I’ve been loving the way it ties the room together.
What is your decorating style? Do you love neutrals? Color? Have you shopped at Arhaus before?

Hi Jenna! I fell in love with the wall vases you have and ended up ordering the circular ones. They just came in from being back-ordered and didn’t come with any hardware. How did you hang yours?
Thank you,
Amanda

Hi! I just used a thick 2” screw to hang! We have a toolbox of random stuff and drilled it into the wall!
