This is the time of year where it’s hard to find something to look forward to (in terms of holidays). With Christmas and NYE in the past, what’s coming up next? Memorial Day? That seems like forever away! Luckily, Valentine’s Day is around the corner and wedding season is about to start. Sparkly shoes aren’t meant to be worn just one night a year!
Whether you’re going to a formal wedding or a casual one, it’s always fun to have the perfect accessories. I invest in 1 or 2 clutches per season that are versatile enough to be worn to multiple events. This gold box clutch would make a perfect option if you tend to gravitate toward golds and warmer toned outfits. It doesn’t scream wedding so it can also be worn out to drinks with the girls or on date night.
My other weakness is pave jewelry. I’m sure that comes as no surprise! I fell in love with this criss cross bracelet. It’s really flexible so it’s not uncomfortable like bangles can sometimes be. Plus, the pave can either be dressed up or down. There are tons of matching statement rings too – I’ve already worn mine a few times! They’re not as bulky as a cocktail ring so you can even get away with wearing them to work.
Last but not least, the shoes! I love these studded pumps! The white and beige tone means they can be worn with all those pretty spring colors. I love a good black dress but I do love myself some color too! Especially pretty pastel blues! They’re pretty comfortable too and the detailing is amazing.
Since Matt and I were back in Orange Country for the holidays (when we shot this), I kept this outfit more casual with these formal accessories. A fun structured moto jacket and an off the shoulder knit were perfect for our family festivities. We have a very relaxed holiday just hanging out at my parents’ house. I wouldn’t have it any other way! Both of us were very grateful to get a little rest right before our trip to Hong Kong and Thailand!
