I know, I know. I don’t usually post on Tuesdays but I’m making a special exception because I’m obsessed with this outfit. Mainly, the leopard. Everyone always says “_____ is the new neutral” and lately I’ve been hearing “leopard” in place of that blank. It’s a pretty interesting concept – a print being a neutral, right? It makes zero sense. For example, I highly doubt chartreuse or magenta would look good with leopard print. Although now that I’m thinking about it, perhaps it could. So, maybe it really is the new neutral.
Regardless, I take commentary on the latest trends with a grain of salt. There’s always something going out and always something coming in – not to mention coming back in. It’s exhausting being on trend, isn’t it? Exhausting or exhilarating. Maybe both or maybe they’re synonyms. Either way, I’m going to wear what I want to wear when I want to wear it and today, that is this leopard skirt which is only $16. Boohoo sent it over for collaborating on a Christmas campaign!
