Life has been a bit whirlwind lately. After spending a few days back in LA on business and then the long weekend in Asheville, I’m turning around to go back to California on Friday for my little sister’s wedding! I’m starting to feel like I can’t keep up! Fortunately, I’ve got one more work trip before the end of the month and then after that, I’m home… for only a week and a half. Why did I sign up for this again?
With so much going on right now, I’ve been trying to simplify my daily routine. Still wanting to look put together, I’ve been upping the ante when it comes to everyday wearables. You know, those pieces you wear on repeat until they practically fall apart. Part of that quest has been to find simple jewelry that goes with everything but doesn’t tarnish after a month of wear. For the last 2 weeks, I’ve been putting Michael Hill’s gold collection to the test. I have to say, I’m totally impressed. The quality is amazing!
It’s definitely tough to pick a favorite but if I had to, this arrow wrap ring would be it. I slip it on with everything. And I mean everything. I had a very similar ring years ago but it was so flimsy that it ultimately got bent out of shape until it was too distorted to wear. This one is nothing like that. The simple arrow design makes it an interesting piece to look at while not being your bulky statement ring.
My layered bracelets are also by Michael Hill. I wanted something I could wear all the time that wouldn’t get in the way of my sweaters or anything else I’m wearing. The infinity sign has always been one of my favorites (since calculus – yes, I just admitted that) and a simple gold circle is timeless. I like how the two look paired together a lot. Just a really delicate, feminine pair! Michael Hill has some really lovely gift options if you’re looking for ideas for a girlfriend or maybe your mom this Mother’s Day!
This Michael Hill jewelry was exactly what I wanted to wear with this ruffled pink dress. I posted with these gorgeous velvet heels last week and have a feeling this won’t be the last of them. They’re really comfortable and the block heel means you can spend all day in them. If they’re still available in your size, buy them before they sell out! They are seriously swoon worthy!
