White Halter Dress | Straw Tote | Tortoise Sunglasses | Fan Necklace | Gold Bangle
Can you believe the first month of 2018 is over already? It seemed to fly by at times but also drag by at others. Either way, that means there is another Instagram fashion round up today with 15 shoppable outfits! These were the most popular looks from this month!
INSTAGRAM FASHION ROUNDUP – JANUARY 2018
If I could sum up January, it would be that we are all ready for warmer weather. A lot happened this month and I took the blog in a new direction. While I still posted my OOTDs, I talked a lot more about lifestyle such as tips for being vegan, the best eye creams, and I shared my winter workouts. I’m really enjoying all the variety and have a ton more coming since you guys have had so many requests! I love the requests! If you ever have a question or a post request, you can always email me here. For now, let’s dive into the fashion.
Pink and White Pullover Fleece |High Waist Skinny Jeans (33% off, size down one size) | Fringe Tote | Tortoise Sunglasses
Another classic! This pullover is selling out like crazy as predicted. There are 5 colors and sizes are limited so if you’re on the fence, grab it fast. I ordered my regular size and it fits so well. It’s also surprisingly warm which I love.
Pink Blush Leggings | White Hoodie | Rose Gold Water Bottle | White Nikes | Hair Ties (they help protect your hair)
Every now and then you need a little something extra to spruce up your workout. When I talked about what I do to stay fit, it didn’t hurt that this rose gold colored outfit was in the post. Ironically, Matt got me this entire ensemble for Christmas. Right down to the rose gold colored water bottle. While I always wanted a Swell one, I’ve been super impressed by it and it’s more affordable! Oh, and I’ve been lusting over these Nikes for months.
Navy Blue Blazer | Striped Tee (my favorite basic tee for $24!) | High Waisted Skinny Jeans | Brown Leather Satchel | Brown Leather Belt | Brown Suede Pumps (40% off!) | Tortoise Sunglasses | Pearl Necklace
One guess what the topic of this blog post was about: work. Yes! After getting so many requests to talk about work life balance, I finally shared a little real talk with you guys. It was also a little tough love too. If you’re looking for some motivation, it’s a must read for sure. There is also this business-girl-chic navy blazer in the post too.
Hot Pink One Piece (comes in black too) | Similar Straw Hat | Similar White Sunglasses
This photo was a teaser of our trip to the Bahamas with Baha Mar and Modern Luxury Magazine this month! I cannot wait to share more with you guys very soon. There is also a fun giveaway in the works so keep an eye out. In the meantime, snag this hot pink one piece. It’s super flattering and has a low back.
Lace Dress (5 colors and under $100) | Designer Heels | Similar Designer Bag | Favorite Stacking Ring | Diamond Earrings
Yep, you recognize the rockstuds! After wearing these shoes over 50 times here on the blog, I finally shared why they make my list of the best things to invest in. While you might have to save up a little more, the CPW (cost per wear) is lower on all of these items than a cheaper brand. They just last for years! I didn’t keep this list to just fashion either!
Burgundy Dress | Beige D’Orsay Pumps | Similar Black Shoulder Bag | Starfish Project Pearl Necklace, Bar Necklace, Druzzy Bracelet, and Druzzy Earrings ($25)
This burgundy midi dress is such a fan favorite! It officially is back in stock and is one of my favorite “work to weekend” dresses. First seen here, it’s been worn at least 6 times in the last few months and has held up surprisingly well. The cut is very modest too so you can get away with wearing it to multiple events. I’d order your regular size!
Duvet Cover | Pom Blanket | Faux Fur Blanket | Chevron Pillows | Pink Velvet Pillows | Faux Fur Pillow
This might have been one of my favorite shoots this month. Matt and I got a new Tempurpedic mattress and I thought it was just awesome to be able to take photos indoors for once. Channeling all things snuggly, I shared a little bit of our bedroom decor and a whole lot about this mattress and the store we got it from!
Grey Dawn Levy Coat | White Sweater | White Skinny Jeans | Grey Over the Knee Boots | Black Bag | Black Sunglasses
One of my favorite shots from our trip to New York last month! This was taken at Top of the Rock which was one of the most serene places in New York. In fact, probably the only serene place. If you’re new to my A Weekend In series, it’s all about how to do quick weekend trips around the US. Check it out if you’re a domestic kind of girl!
White Bell Sleeve Top | Ruffled Maroon Skirt | Tan Pumps | Adjustable Gold Statement Necklace | Bar Earrings
This might have been my favorite OOTD this month! I just love both of these pieces and they are both on sale! It’s such a fun sassy look and it was my way of saying that I wouldn’t let winter get the best of my style! You can wear skirts in winter.
Little Black Dress | Similar Leather Knee High Boots (on sale!) | Similar Plaid Scarf | Similar Knotted Belt | Black Tote | Lipstick in ‘Crimson’ | $20 iPhone Case
You guys loved this one! It’s such a fall look to me but I could see how it can transition to spring. I love a good pair of riding boots and feel like this belt really tied things together for me. From the plaid to the bold lip, everything about this look is really well balanced. It’s definitely another “work to weekend” outfit which you guys know I love. Don’t buy things you can only wear one place (generally speaking).
Faux Leather Moto Jacket | $28 Black Tunic | Black Skinny Jeans | Similar Burgundy Pumps | Colorblock Crossbody Bucket Bag | $55 Black Sunglasses | Lipstick in ‘Crimson’
Will wearing all black ever go out of style? Apparently not! Every time I post this look, it seems to make the top posts of the month! Each piece can be mixed and matched individually as well. You don’t have to only wear all black with them. That’s another reason why I’m guessing you guys love this one too.
Grey Cardigan (on sale!) | White Tunic | Black Moto Leggings | Black Pumps | Black Tote | iPhone Case
This outfit was an example of how I style these moto leggings for the office. It’s just a comfortable look that is easy to wear in the winter time (and easy to walk through the snow). But no matter what climate you’re in, it’s a great example of how even faux leather can be appropriate for work. This sweater is also on major sale right now and it’s survived the wash really well!
Olive Jacket | Plaid Scarf | White Top | Faux Leather Leggings | Black Boots | Black Tote | Tortoise Sunglasses
We’ve had some weird weather in Chicago lately! It’s snowy one weekend and then 50 the next. This was from one of those extra snowy, freezing days. While you might not want to think about winter any more, it’s here to stay for a few months if you’re in the Midwest or on the east coast!
Pink Dress | Beige Sandals | White Crossbody Bag | Pink Feather Earrings | Pink Sunglasses
Guess what holiday I posted about when I wrote about this dress. Valentine’s Day! If you’re looking for some outfit inspiration for this holiday of romance, I styled 5 different Valentine’s Day outfits here. This dress was my favorite of the 5 (but they’re all really good). I just love this blush pink and the flowy skirt. In fact, it might remind you of the dress in my fall wedding dress guide. If it does, there is a reason. It’s the same dress. Yes, it’s that good that I now own it in 2 colors! When I think of Instagram fashion, this is what I think of!
Similar V-Neck Sweater | Boyfriend Jeans | $20 Marble iPhone Cover | Gold Necklaces
Another one of those looks that we all just can’t get enough of. A class v-neck sweater and some ripped boyfriend jeans. This is the perfect weekend uniform. While my knit has sold out, I linked to a similar one in the text above!
