Today is the last post of 2015! Instead of going out with a bang (I’ll leave that to tomorrow night’s dress), I’m sticking with one of my favorite wearable combinations. Basically, that means combining everything black, white, and grey. Since I’m such a fan of the layered look, I’m constantly looking for simple pieces like this heathered grey sweater dress that lend themselves well to doing do. Not only do I think layers make a outfit just a tiny bit more interesting but those layers certainly help during the winter.
I’ve had these grey boots for years and I still love them just as much as the day I got them. While they’re no longer available, these over the knee suede boots are equally fab. The thing I love about boots like these are that they are still relevant for seasons to come. My mother always teased me about going through things too quickly but I’ve kept all of my boots for multiple seasons until I’ve literally worn them into the ground. Since they’re typically a little more of an investment upfront, gotta get your money’s worth!
2020 Ave grey sweater dress | Old Navy scarf (or try this reversible plaid scarf!) | Michael Kors coat (similar black wool) | Similar grey suede boots | Celine bag (black trapeze bag for less)
