A few weeks ago, I shared a new haircare brand with you: Hair Food. I was in search of hair care products free of parabens, mineral oil, silicones, gluten, sulfates and dyes. So how did the Hair Food Sulfate Free Color Protection collection work?
After using these Hair Food products for 2 weeks, I have to say I’m pretty impressed. My hair feels silky and strong after using it – this combo was very hydrating. My flyaways were noticeably smoother. It was also easy to comb through my hair after showering. I still use my favorite detangler and my favorite leave in conditioner with it (I’ve seen the results when I don’t!). The Hair Food Sulfate Free Color Protection collection is great for highlighted or if you balayage your hair. With summer right around the corner, it’s important to infuse your locks with all the moisture they can get!
When it comes to ingredients, the Hair Food collection is infused with white nectarine and pear. It smelled like a fruit recipe! In terms of safety, Hair Food is formulated without some of the most common toxic chemicals, including sulfates, parabens, dyes, and mineral oil.
For a product that works and is affordable, Hair Food is a great option if you aren’t a safe beauty junkie and/or are on a budget. Both products are under $10 – a great price! You can purchase Hair Food at a Walmart near you! Overall, Hair Food is a great affordable product making my hair silkier and stronger. Especially when I air dried my hair, I noticed a big difference in how soft it felt to the touch. If you’re looking for affordable hair care products that smell good and are sulfate and paraben free, give it a try!
