If there’s one thing I love, it’s mixing neutrals with one or two statement pieces. This little formula is a fool proof way to make it look like you tried. Every single time.
If you’ve ever read my blog or visited my Instagram page, you know I consider grey a neutral. I wear it ALL the time. With adorable (and affordable) sunnies like these, it’s hard not to throw a touch of it into every outfit. With spring around the corner, my mind jumps to stripes. And there is nothing better than a neutral striped tee. This 3/4 sleeve top is so comfortable too. Like wear-it-to-sleep comfortable. It has a relaxed fit which means you can snuggle up but also throw on a structured piece (like this faux leather jacket) over it if you’re running out.
Just like anyone else, I get a little bored with my wardrobe sometimes. Hard to believe, right? Well I do. I wear the same outfits on rotation to work Monday through Friday and I’m just about over them. While I adore grey, I wanted to try mixing some green into my outfit – grey and white was the perfect palette for it too. Olive has been popping up left and right lately so it was a convenient time to take this trend for a spin. These open toe booties are just fab. They come in 3 other colors (all easy to wear) and are comfortable to walk in with the elastic strap on the back. They are definitely the perfect shoe for spring! The theme of today’s outfit? Clearly it’s weekend casual.
Lastly, I’m so excited to announce that I’ll be joining the WIWW Link Up hosted every Wednesday with Grace from Gracefully Made and Brenna from Chic Street Style! I’ll be taking the place of Elizabeth from Book of Leisure who is moving on to bigger and better things! But don’t worry, you can still catch her in my Monday series with the girls of #FBloggerNation. Make sure to link up below so we can see your latest outfit!

I also consider grey a neutral, and it also happens to be one of my favorite colors. I’m loving the stripes and pop of olive.
