Matt really wanted me to start out this post with “sup ladies?” I couldn’t explain to him all the things that were wrong with that intro through my giggles. When people say “sup” it reminds me of high school. Specifically, instant messages on AIM in high school. No one uses that anymore! Except for the occasional creeper you meet at a bar that’s still living in the past.
We just got back from a weekend in Minneapolis. He’s been calling it “Minny” for the last 48 hours so you can imagine the mood he’s in. Why did we go? For baseball, of course. If you caught my Instagram stories this weekend, it was a weekend for the boys. We did, however, somehow convince the guys to go to Como Conservatory. It’s both a zoo and a park which satisfied the needs of both genders! This atrium/greenhouse was something I’d seen on Instagram months ago and saved it to my Google Maps. When we decided to make the trip up to visit our friends, I felt like that was the perfect time to see it!
While we just got back from Minnesota, these photos were from our trip to Miami the weekend before. We needed to escape the Chicago cold so we took a trip south to shoot a bunch of content for the blog. It wasn’t as relaxing as either of us would have wanted but we got a ton of work done! I’ve about reached my limit standing outside shivering in the cold here. The weather is tough hence why Matt’s latest “gift” to me was a happy light. Him and his peculiar gifts from Amazon. As a California girl, I’m tired of not seeing the sun and of being cold all the time. I’m going to do a 6 month update soon on living in the midwest so stay tuned for more on the biggest adjustments!
