I can’t believe it’s already the end of February! I guess that’s to be expected since it’s a shorter month. I’m getting ahead of my monthly Instagram round up this time because last month, I almost forgot to post it! Y’all showed me so much love on IG in February and I am so grateful for that. Seriously. The number of likes almost beats the Valentine’s Day date night Matt took me on (we went to Mercadito which you should definitely try if you love guacamole and are ever in Chicago).
Based on this month’s most popular photos, y’all are ready for spring! Flowers, off the shoulder dresses, and lots of blush seem to be the theme of spring 2017. In no particular order, these are the most popular posts of the month!
This blush wrap dress is a total dream! It just came back in stock over the weekend and is definitely a favorite for wedding season. I wore it to my sister’s rehearsal dinner last Friday night. I love how it pairs with these velvet heels which are so comfortable I wore them all weekend including for a night on the dance floor! For more details, you can read the full post here.
This off the shoulder ruffled dress is the perfect piece for spring. It also would make a great beach cover up for spring break! I wore this to go pick out flowers for my sister’s bridal shower about a month ago and made my mom snap a photo afterward! You can see some of the flowers we ended up using in my recap of the bridal shower!
I finally tried one of those outfit selfies! Boy is it tough when you have short arms. This easy to wear v neck dress is under $50 and comes in a few colors. It’s so lightweight and perfect for spring. I wore it around Asheville when we were there over President’s Day with a lightweight white moto and my new favorite platform sandals!
Another shot from Asheville! Matt accidentally forgot the camera (I swear it was on purpose) so we snapped a few iPhone shots instead of using our regular camera. Seems like it was a hit! This ruffled off the shoulder was so gorgeous! As you can see, I pretty much wore these platforms the entire weekend.
This was such a fun date night look! These fluted sleeves balanced the flare of the mini skirt so well. I talked more about this fun look in this post here!
If you missed the giveaway for this blush tote, you can purchase it here. It’s one of my favorites for spring and the company that makes it has an amazing mission to support women. These peep toe booties are also going to be on repeat this spring – I love the color grey!
This was my travel outfit back home from Sunday! This thermal is on sale and almost 40% off. I also bought the silver color and just might have to go back for more. The flowers I’m carrying in my purse were from the rehearsal dinner! We didn’t have enough hands to bring them back home so I had to get creative with how I was carrying things haha!
Another look from Asheville! I wore this around our first day in town while we toured a few breweries. I shared the ones we went to on Snapchat/Insta Stories but will do a full roundup later this week! At least, I’m hoping to. I’m in Scottsdale for work this week and am hoping to steal a few minutes away to get blog work done!
This red halter dress is a dream! You’ll never guess what household item inspired this foxy date night look either! You can read the full post plus pick up a few tips on decorating your coffee table here.
Seems like we are loving all things pink lately! This blush bag has the perfect structure and shape and I can’t wait to style it with more things this spring! As you can see, I’m styling these velvet sandals again – they go with a surprising amount of things!
This easy date night look had Matt giving me all the heart eyes! He said this top enhanced my assets. What girl doesn’t want that? You can read more about his take on this look here. I loved pairing it with a pop of red just to make this look really stand out!
Hello amazing chambray! This is another perfect spring break dress and it’s under $100!
No girl can have too many LBDs and this lace up bodycon made the cut yet again! It’s such a classic piece and just easy to throw on for whatever event you have.
Ending today’s post strong with a pretty blush sweater for spring! It’s still cold in most places around the country so I’ve had fun playing with new ways to style these light sweaters! While we might not have to break out the parka, 40 degrees isn’t exactly calling for sandals just yet!
That’s it for today! Did you have a favorite outfit? What is your favorite spring trend?
