Chicago is still cold but I’m getting the impression I could start every blog post with that for another 5 months. So instead of talking about that, the most important part of today’s post is the sales! Winter items can come with a high price tag so when you find something that’s almost 50% off, it’s like Christmas all over again. I’m quickly realizing you can never have too many coats or boots if you live anywhere other than California!

The first sale I wanted to talk about was these Stuart Weitzman boots! I initially got them during Black Friday but realized they’re part of the 50% off sale that’s happening right now! If you’ve been waiting for the moment to buy some Stuart Weitzmans, this is the moment. No doubt about it. They are worth the investment, trust me. The quality is unlike any other and the fit cannot be beat. There are some pretty good dupes out there but nothing is quite as good as the real thing in this case!

The second hooray moment from today’s outfit is this shearling parka. I wanted a warm coat and liked the light beige color so I decided to take a chance on this one. The fit is incredible. The leather piping along the edges makes for such an adorable detail too. And let’s talk about the fur trim! Everything is faux so you can wear this coat guilt free! Since the jacket is such a pretty neutral, you can wear it with your favorite winter whites and also blue jeans. I can’t wait to style it more ways!

I was going for a winter white-ish look when I initially started pulling this outfit together so I put on my favorite white jeans. White denim is so difficult to wear. Awkward bunching, a poor fit, and stains all make people shy away from it. These jeans have survived all my stains (with the help of a tide-to-go pen) and still have their magically flattering fit! If you don’t own a pair, try any of the DL1961 Instasculpt line – they come in just about every color so even if you don’t want white, there’s something for you!

I feel like the theme of most of my outfits is ‘flattering’. Along with the boots, the jacket, and the jeans, today’s heathered wrap sweater is no exception.
