So, I definitely heard the word “snow” on the news last night. It’s November. I’m used to Thanksgiving weekends spent in tank tops, not parkas! It’s going to be a long winter, y’all. In the spirit of keeping warm, I’m styling this faux fur cape by Evy’s Tree today! What is better than basically wearing a blanket in public?
When my mom and I were exploring Chicago last weekend (she came to visit as seen on snapchat @jennacolgrove), she even commented on how gorgeous this cape was! My mom is one of the sweetest people but fashion and beauty aren’t her things. Bless her heart. How I came to be obsessed with both topics is a mystery to me (and her)! All this to say, if she said something, you know it’s good.
The faux fur collar is my favorite detail! So chic. Capes are an easy way to add a layer while looking elegant and classy. Who doesn’t want that? I really liked how pairing it with this white turtleneck turned out. It really balances out the neck area and also keeps you super warm! Plus it’s so snuggle worthy!
Black and camel is one of my favorite color combinations for fall. I feel like bright colors are for summer and during fall/winter, I gravitate toward neutrals. These colors go so well together and always appear timeless! I can’t wait to rock the winter white as soon as it snow. Which, according to the news, is any day now.
