As I start to think about fall (even though I really don’t want to), I love transition pieces like this Yumi Kim maxi dress. Things that can be worn through multiple seasons are the most practical for all of us. The print has a neutral base but it brings in those pops of colors with the floral pattern – the perfect echo of summer. While I may have a few more months of warmer temperatures here in Los Angeles, this maxi can be paired perfectly with a denim jacket when it starts to cool off.
On the fit, I love that the straps on the back are adjustable because… we aren’t all made the same. It’s also long enough for the tall girls, note that I am in heels and it’s the perfect length. Plus, there are pockets!! I automatically love anything at least twice as much if it’s functional. Although, this does mean another place to lose and forget things in. I thought I left my phone on the table after brunch one Sunday. Matt ran back into the restaurant to get it. Turns out I didn’t – oops! He was not pleased!
I’m getting back into gold jewelry (after a silver binge) and am loving these pieces by See Blair. Tassel necklaces are everywhere lately but I love the more refined simplicity of this one all in gold. I couldn’t resist this Mrs. bracelet which is the perfect gift for anyone with a friend that got married recently. Or a gift to yourself if you just did too! It’s all under $30 too!
