You guys are never going to guess where I was in these photos. Wisconsin!! That’s right, this California girl was smack dab in the middle of the midwest. Initial reaction? There is tons of corn.

We spent the weekend in Lake Geneva for a family wedding – it was a cute little town and the lake was gorgeous! The weather had started to cool which made it perfect for this fall outfit. This faux leather moto jacket was one of the steals I scored in a sale but not to worry – it’s still under $100! I’m thoroughly impressed by the quality and fit. Stellar! It paired so perfectly with this ruffle front blouse (under $70). The way this top is cut, it can be layered under almost anything for fall!

Keeping my outfit monochromatic, let’s skip ahead to the good stuff: the jewels! JTV.com just released their fall line and it’s full of beautifully intricate pieces! I wanted the only pop of color to be this green jade bracelet! But let’s also talk about this vintage statement necklace. How incredible is this detail? I can’t way to style it in other ways because I feel like it is going to be very versatile. This baguette bracelet pairs so well with it too.

This look is just one of those chic city looks that you can wear on repeat! While I felt a little out of place in the small town of Lake Geneva, the appeal of this outfit was not lost among the passers-by! People in the Midwest are so nice. So many people stopped to tell me they liked this look and the JTV.com jewelry!
