After keeping pretty quiet about this sort of huge life event that’s occurring next year, I’m super excited to share with you all the first set of engagement photos today by our photographer Andy Seo! Matt and I had completely different ideas of how we wanted our photos to look which is so typical of us. As any successful couple does, we compromised and did a little of both.
As a lover of nature, vegetarian, and lady on a mission to make the world a safer place (thanks to my new job at Beautycounter), I wanted our photos to be more romantic and feature nature. So, this first set is exactly that! Lots of shrubbery and water. His interests are more aligned with sports, meat, and cement structures. Can you guess what kind of setting he wanted? I’ll be posting his vision next week so stay tuned!
My love of white is no secret so I really wanted the perfect white maxi for these engagement photos. On my epic quest for the right dress (I literally searched for months), I knew I could count on Free People for the look I was going for – ethereal and free. I’m totally planning to frame one of these and hang it in our bedroom one day. We had planned to go to the beach and loved the idea of Matt wearing salmon to contrast the blues of the ocean and give us a little pop of color. Plus, he looks so cute in these pants – they fit him like a glove!
