A Dress A Day: Party Dress (Day 11)

Seeing stars. That describes exactly how I feel as Memorial Day weekend kicks off today! And what print is more patriotic than a bunch of stars? For the first time ever, I have the day off work! Matt and I are headed to Tulum to spend the long weekend. Today marks 5 years since we started dating – if you missed his rendition of how we met, it’s rather unusual! Anyway, I’m excited to be in some heat!

Speaking of fun, today’s cut out dress has no shortage of ‘party’ going on. The star print is on the subtle side (but still a unique detail) and the cut out adds a flattering illusion to slimming your shape. After I’ve been parking it on the beach with a bowl of guac all day, this is the kind of dress I need.

I’ve been wearing these rockstud heels a lot in this A Dress A Day series. I wear them a lot in real life. Any time I need a dark shoe, I try on these first and 90% of the time keep them on. They are my favorite investment heel and I find them to be so comfortable. Surprisingly, a little more comfortable than the block heel version. We all have the things we like to splurge on though. Whether it’s shoes, a home, or some other big life purchase. If shoes aren’t your splurge item, I’ve linked to some really good designer dupes below!

Most of them are under $100. It’s all about what you’re comfortable with. You can still get the fun studded look without sacrificing your budget.
