Just because Coachella is over, doesn’t mean your festival style has to be tossed in the back of your closet. As a California girl, I was guilty of this too. Don’t feel bad. Coachella was the highlight for me like Swedish House Mafia on the main stage circa 2012. But there’s life after a week in Indio. There are festivals in almost every major city including the one I moved to. So let’s talk about what to wear!

My inner bohemian will forever love anything that Free People manufactures. While embroidered bell sleeves might not say I’m ready for this business meeting, FP will always have a (large) spot in my closet. And this dress is the perfect example. How gorgeous are the floral details on the sleeve? And let’s not forget about the twist open back. Oh, and pockets. Always pockets.

I’ve also been caught swooning over this off the shoulder dress lately too. If you’re ordering, size down as it runs a little big. I finally found it in stock and just purchased the blue! Both dresses could easily be worn from day to night. From festival to swanky bar. It’s just a matter of an accessories change!

But for now, let’s talk about styling for a festival. Let’s say Lollapalooza for example. Matt and I are going this year with a few friends and I couldn’t be more amped up. It’s been a hot minute since we were at one together!

Since it will be hot, you can either go with the basic strappy sandal or your classic converse. Both make great choices and are easy on your feet. You’ll also need a crossbody bag. If you’re like me, come prepared for all things life throws at you, it better be sizable. Tide to go pen? 3 different lip colors? A light sweater for the evening? It all needs to fit. I love the horseshoe pattern on this one! And the color. It’s so easy to find things to match it with!
