If the LA rain this past weekend did anything, it made me want summer to hurry up and get here. Romantic flowy skirts and crop tops are my jam and I can’t wait to wear them regularly (except when I’m in the office of course). Let’s disregard the fact that I was actually in Dallas for #rStheCon so I only caught the very beginning of the rain storms!
This white button down skirt is a closet staple IMO. White is a color you can never own too much of (about 30% of my closet is white). The waistband is elastic but the skirt runs big so size down at least one size. I’m wearing an XS and it’s a bit loose at the waist still! Another noteworthy attribute: pockets. Heck yes!
My all time favorite article of clothing is the crop top. Paired with a high waisted anything, it’s creates a killer look. It’s somehow feminine yet shows a little skin in a tasteful way. This navy blue crop top is so easy to wear (the cut makes it so you can still wear a bra with it) and it isn’t super restrictive. If you want it to hug your rib cage, size down again! The top paired so perfectly with the GiGi New York tote which you saw a few weeks back!
WAYF Navy Crop Top (size down) | WAYF White Midi Skirt (size down) | GiGi New York Blue Tote Bag | Burberry Wedges (similar wedges for less here) | Karen Walker Sunglasses (totally obsessed with these)
And now for this week’s What I Wore Wednesday Link Up!
This week we are featured Kacie, from Regally Soled and Blaire, from Peaches in a Blog.

As an older woman, I would never have thought I’d be wearing crop tops again…but I did (with a long shirt under it!)
You look great!

love the length of the crop top with the skirt- just a hint of skin but totally appropriate!

This is a super cute combo. I haven’t figured out the crop top/midi skirt combo for myself yet, since I always feel like everything is too boxy looking on me, but it’s outfits like this that keep me inspired that one day I’ll find the right combo!

Aww thank you! I’m all about experimenting with different looks – I like the crops that hug your rib cage usually with a defined fit and flare skirt :)

YES, crop tops and high-waisted skirts/pants are such a modern yet classic look (not sure how that’s possible but it is!). I love the material of that top! And thank you for featuring me this week, how exciting!!
