Y’all, there are 2 days left until my little sister gets married!! I feel like I’ve talked about this in every post this week but I just can’t stop thinking about it. Every day I’m rewriting and revising my MOH speech to make sure its good enough for her! So much pressure. Matt and I are heading back to Southern California early Friday morning. All of my family will be there and I can’t wait to catch up. But mostly, I can’t wait to see my sister in her wedding dress!
I swear talking about my sister’s wedding is related to this post. These photos were another round that my mom took when I was in California for the bridal shower a few weeks back! If you missed the first two, there is the gorgeous bell sleeved velvet dress here and a fun gingham shift dress here. Had I known my mom was such a pro behind the lens, I might not have let her off so easy while I lived in Los Angeles! I would have definitely given Matt a break and put her on photographer duty!
This off the shoulder chambray dress is one of those pieces that is a must have for spring break. Actually, a must have for spring in general. It’s super lightweight and so easy to wear. It would make a great bathing suit coverup but also can be dressed up with fun wedges for a night out. I’ve kind of gone for the “in between” look here with a pair of strappy sandals. Mine are from Tommy Bahama (also styled here) but I found some adorable alternatives here by TOMS! This dress is under $100 too.
With that, I’m going to wrap up this post. Sorry for the short one today! I had an event for my day job last night (I work in finance – people are still so surprised by that) so I’ve got a ton to catch up on. I love team outings but feel like I always end up getting behind afterward! Off to Pure Barre and then back to the office for me today before packing up my life again to head back to California!
