If you didn’t already know from my Instagram, I got LASIK last Friday so I spent my weekend with my eyes shut or prying them open to drown them in all sorts of drops. BUT in honor of it being Monday and the fact that I’m attempting to go back to work, I’m bringing you the cape blazer. Cape = chic. Blazer = #girlboss. It’s exactly what I’m going to need to look put together after a weekend of wearing the most unflattering protective goggles and not brushing my hair. Fancy cuffs to distract from my lack of makeup. Stacked jewels to make it look like I didn’t spend the last 3 days in bed. And a braid because there’s nothing else that can tame this hair and at this point, the doctors have sufficiently terrified me of washing my hair. This outfit is the dream team for someone feeling a little less than 100% on Monday morning.
In full disclosure, I never feel 100% on a Monday morning. I also can’t bring myself to try full-blown camo print because it makes me think of Duck Dynasty or some other show on MTV. The price tag on these Nine West pumps made me cave a little though – can’t go wrong with all black! They’re also having a ton of great sales lately or so says my email inbox.

I’m curious to hear how the LASIK went! I wear glasses/contacts and always wonder, but I haven’t done a lot of research.
