September is all about stocking up on items for fall. It’s a transition period that eases you into cooler temperatures with a cute tie sleeve sweater (did you see my Instagram last night?) and rich colors. If you’ve been following along for my past year in Chicago, I lived in scarves for about 7 months of it! Well, it’s that time of year again. That means, I’m on the hunt for some new fall favorites and this affordable bell sleeve dress definitely makes the cut!

I spotted this burgundy dress in about 30 seconds in Modcloth’s New Arrivals and knew it would be perfect for fall. The easy to wear shape (extremely flattering and forgiving), the fun sleeves, the color. If there was a quintessential fall outfit, this would be it! It’s under $60 and can be styled quite a few ways too. This dress would also be great with a pair of booties and even some over the knee boots when it starts to get cooler. I can’t wait to restyle it for you guys – keep an eye out on my OOTDs!

If you’re new to Modcloth, they are a brand that puts their own unique twist on everything. They step up the basics with unique details and everything is affordable. The pieces are really good quality and modest. Which means they are great if you’re looking for some new pieces for the office! I wore one of their gorgeous swimsuits during our trip to Tulum earlier this year. Here are some of my favorites (aside from this dress)!

If you couldn’t tell from their website, Modcloth also has some really fun accessories. I really wanted these embroidered floral flats. Since I walk to work, I’m always looking for comfortable shoes that I can wear on my walk! Or even when I need to give my feet a rest. These were a really fun way to bring in texture and a pop of color. I’m going to try styling them with denim skinnies later this week.

The flats also played really well off this yellow scarf. I didn’t realize this online, but the scarf has this really gorgeous teal/mint stripe throughout the fabric. My immediate reaction was to pair it with burgundy. But after opening the package and seeing it up close, it would also go well with cooler tones like greens and blues!
