Y’all, it’s supposed to be 70 degrees in Chicago tomorrow. Matt and I saw that and both our eyes almost popped out of our heads. He keeps reminding me that this winter has been nothing. “It’s been so mild”, he’ll say. Like he’s trying to convince me that I didn’t make the right decision to move to Chicago. Boy had better watch himself!

With sunshine around the corner, I’m busting identifying all the dresses I want for spring and summer. This pink bell sleeved dress was what I wore to my sister’s bridal shower. Her wedding colors are navy and pink so I wanted to be a good MOH by keeping with the theme. It’s made of a velvety material so it’s super soft and the shift shape covers a lot.

Since it was still cool in CA, I paired it with OTK boots. However, you could easily pair with cute little beige booties, heels for a quick date night look, or even your favorite sandals. It’s just one of those dresses that can be worn in so many ways. I’m also wearing my all time favorite tassel necklace. It goes so well with high necklines just to elongate your shape! My mom actually took these photos of me (thanks mom)! I was racking my brain trying to find cute places to shoot and she pulled this one out of nowhere. It is called Edwards Mansion and was adorable! My sister had actually looked at this location for a wedding venue last year. While it didn’t work out for her, it made for a fun colorful shoot for me!

I’ll be headed back to CA at the end of the week for the wedding. I got my MOH speech all ready but keep revising it to make it better! I just can’t wait to see my sister as a bride!
