As most of you know, I loved planning our wedding. It’s such an exciting time and I relished every detail of executing the wedding of our dreams! Knowing exactly what I wanted and loving organization made it really easy for me. Our wedding details were featured on Style Me Pretty this year (which was a total dream!) but there’s another wedding in our future. My sister is getting married! Her wedding invitations just came in and I’m in love!

My sister is similar to me in that she knows exactly what she wants. As her maid of honor, I love every opportunity I have to help her make that vision a reality! From bridal shower ideas to table linens, we’ve been pinning up a storm over on Pinterest. Her wedding board is private (duh!) but there’s tons of other inspiration on my profile.

For her wedding, she’s going for the rustic chic theme. She’s loved the color pink for as long as I can remember so I wasn’t surprised when she wanted to incorporate it into her big day! I love the way she decided to though. Instead of a bold pink she went with the ultra trendy blush tone. The wedding is in February so she incorporated navy to speak to that winter tone.

We went to Minted for her wedding invitations! It was so easy. There were so many options that we had to narrow it down multiple times to choose. From the classic black and white to beautifully bohemian, there were so many gorgeous themes. They even printed addresses on the envelope (this was something that I ran into issues with for my wedding invites)! I couldn’t believe how easy the process was!

I always seem to find at least one amazing gift there every holiday season. The soap in these photos is wine scented and has a really beautiful marble pattern so it’s decorative too. There are 4 different variations in the pack and they aren’t overwhelming – just a really lovely aroma. For a winery wedding, this would be the perfect added touch! The soy candle here is also from UncommonGood and came as part of a “spa tower”. It’s an all in one at home spa package to give yourself or a friend a little TLC! What bride to be doesn’t need a little relaxation? Now that I think about it, these would also make for great, affordable stocking stuffers and Christmas gifts!

  13. These are absolutely beautiful!!! I got married 10 years ago and what I wouldn’t give to plan it all over again today with SO many amazing options! So exciting about your sister! That’s kind of the best of both worlds for you! To plan but not have the stress as the bride haha!
