I’ve been on the hunt for the perfect black skinnies for FOREVER. You’d think this is one item I’d have nailed down by now but it’s no lay up (like that sports reference?).
Finding the perfect pair of jeans in any color is quite a feat let alone finding them in a specific color. Doesn’t it always seem to work that way? When you really need to find something, it’s impossible but when you’re not looking for it, it pops right up!
I’ve had black denim that fades, stretches out WAY too much, and just plain fits me terribly. Which brings me to these DSTLD skinnies. They have an affordable price, a slight stretch (I’ve worn them multiple times without washing and they aren’t sagging at the knee yet), and a color that seems to be staying post a rendezvous with the washer/dryer. Hallelujah.
Equally important as denim is finding that one statement piece for the next season. I am in LOVE with this suede jacket. While browsing Nasty Gal, the unique color caught my eye and it’s every bit as gorgeous in person as in the picture. Just like any other girl, I have a closet full of neutral toned jackets and for spring, I wanted to amp it up. Purple suede? Sounds perfect. The class moto style makes it easily wearable but the color is the ultimate show stopper.
