As a few of you know, Matt and I celebrated our first wedding anniversary on July 4th! If you missed the massive outfit round up from our celebratory trip to Cabo San Lucas, you can still catch it here. Personally, I don’t think any celebration can be complete without a few photos but I’m guessing that doesn’t surprise you. So, I convinced Matt that it would be a good idea to do a “quick” anniversary shoot! On the hottest day on record in Los Angeles (it was triple digits), Matt and I met up with John from Koman Photography to snap a few shots. We were totally sweating on each other during the shoot but hey, what haven’t you see one year into marriage? Not much.
I was blown away by the photography style of Koman Photography when I was searching for a photographer to capture this occasion. I loved the dreamy, romantic vibes and felt that perfectly matched what our one year anniversary should be. Full of romance. We were able to squeeze in 3 locations which means 3 outfits (yay for shoppable looks)! All in all, I’m just beyond excited to have a few more photos of Matt and I together. Since Matt is my photographer, he is usually behind the camera meaning we don’t have a lot of pictures together. You can never have enough photos of you and your significant other!
Theresa Huang took care of my hair and makeup for the day, exceeding expectations! I’ve never had anyone get my eyeliner right on the first try and was so impressed by the team of girls. Both Joanna (makeup) and Kristine (hair) were really receptive and listened to my vision. They were so sweet. Seriously, I just wanted to hang out with them all day!
Fleurish was so sweet to take care of florals creating a beautifully bohemian bouquet and a simple flower crown with eucalyptus and baby’s breath. Since it was so outrageously hot, the flowers barely made it through the day but they still looked incredible nonetheless!
