As a California girl, I keep getting asked how I’m dealing with the weather in Chicago. Honestly? It’s not that bad. Walking outside in sub-zero temperatures is definitely a wake up call. So far, I’m hanging in there. There are a lot more layers in my daily routine though. Today’s outfit features a few of my favorites.

This sweater can be worn multiple ways which I love! It can be worn as a cowl neck when it’s snowing and you need a little warmth. It can also be worn off the shoulder when you’re need of a date night look. If you’re in colder weather, wear it both ways in one night! Cowl neck on your way to your destination and then turn it into an off the shoulder once you get inside! It can also be worn with only one shoulder showing. The shade is so unique and it comes in 5 other colors too. It’s also just $54 which is such a steal!

Scarves are like my purse now – I don’t go anywhere without them. This chunky knit is from last year but I found two really similar options this year. This one (on sale for $20) has tassels and is equally chunky! Then, there is this one with poms on the end! If you’re looking for something without all the bells and whistles, this one is a great option at $54.

Another less glamorous item that I’ve become reliant on is socks. No one wants to think about socks. They’re a boring item. Or so I thought until I discovered all these cute over the knee options (here, here, and here). My socks from today are OTK but I’ve scrunched them down to go with these faux fur boots. I’m still playing around with how to style them. There are so many extra accessories for cold weather that I’m still learning!
